During the summer season, Nordnes Kro og Camping offers bicycle hire for both adults and children. If you prefer a more leisurely ride, you can also rent an electric bike and simply enjoy the scenery as you cruise through the beautiful Saltdal valley.
Scenic Cycling Routes
Explore Saltdal at your own pace on peaceful forest roads that follow the banks of the Saltdal River. Cycle through beautiful pine forests all the way to Storjord, or head in the opposite direction along quiet country roads that wind through the rural landscape via Røkland before reaching the fjord at Rognan.
Along the route you'll find several picnic areas with fire pits and rustic shelters, making it easy to stop for a break. You might even discover the perfect spot for a refreshing swim on a warm summer's day.
