How to Buy a Bus Ticket
If you plan to use the bus as your mode of transport in Saltdal, you can easily plan your itinerary and purchase a ticket through the "Reis" app or the national website/app "Entur."
Starting in 2024, you can buy single tickets, 24-hour passes, or 3-day tickets directly in the app. If you’re visiting Nordland for more than three days, we recommend checking out the Travel Pass Nordland!

Traveling to Saltdal by Bus from Bodø/Fauske:
You can easily plan your journey using the "Reis" app.
From Bodø, take route 100 to Fauske, then transfer to route 472 to Saltdal. The bus stops at Fauske station, and it’s usually the same bus that continues to Saltdal under a new route number. The total trip takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes, including stops and any waiting time at Fauske.
Traveling to Saltdal by Bus from Lofoten:
You can also plan your journey via the "Reis" app.
Take bus 300 towards Narvik. At Lødingen, transfer to bus route 100 heading to Bodø Airport. Upon arrival at Fauske, change to route 472 towards Saltdal.
