Welcome to Halgården!
The house has 6 beds (and the possibility of 3 extra beds), bathroom, several living rooms and a kitchen.
A perfect choice for groups or families.
Halsgården was built in 1849 by local police chief «Lensmann» Andreas Kildahl Nilsen, who later sold the farm and moved to Bodø, where he founded Grand hotell.
One of the more interesting details of the house is that originally it had a bakery and a prison cell in the basement (!)
The great-grandfather of the current owner purchased the farm in 1873.
Halsgården is now owned by Tove and Per Gunnar, who have put a lot of effort into renovating and modernizing the building, but at the same time preserving many of the old details. The result is a charming guest house with good capacity, secluded location and fantastic surroundings.
